Child Safety Standards — I'M HERE
I'M HERE is a social app for adults in the United Kingdom. Every account holder must be 18 or over. We do not allow, and we act against, child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind.
What we prohibit
- Any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or sharing sexual material involving a minor (CSAM).
- Any attempt by a person under 18 to use I'M HERE, and any attempt by an adult to contact a person they believe to be under 18 through I'M HERE.
How to report — inside the app
Every profile and every chat has a Safety option. Tap Safety › Something wrong?, choose “Underage user or child safety” and tap Submit report. You do not need to leave the app to report. You can also write to us at [email protected].
What we do with a report
- We review every child-safety report as a priority.
- Where we find CSAM or CSAE, we remove the content, close the account and keep the evidence we are required to keep.
- We report CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the UK National Crime Agency, and to any other body the law requires.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests that are made lawfully.
Compliance with law
I'M HERE complies with the child safety laws that apply to it in the United Kingdom.
Where to get help
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. If it is not an emergency, call 101 or report to the police online.
You can also contact these UK organisations directly. They are independent of I'M HERE, and reporting to them does not replace reporting inside the app — you can do both.
- NSPCC helpline — for adults worried about a child. Call 0808 800 5000 or email [email protected]. nspcc.org.uk
- Childline — for children and young people who need to talk to someone. Call 0800 1111. childline.org.uk
- CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command) — to report online sexual abuse of a child, or an adult contacting a child online in a worrying way. www.ceop.police.uk/ceop-reporting
- IWF (Internet Watch Foundation) — to report child sexual abuse images or videos found online. Reports can be anonymous. www.iwf.org.uk/en/uk-report
